What Issues Can Be Treated?

A wide range of adult speech and communication difficulties can be effectively treated online. Whether the difficulty is lifelong or acquired, our therapists can help.

Stammering / Stuttering

Therapy helps adults develop strategies to manage stammering, reduce avoidance behaviours, and build speaking confidence in work and social situations.

Voice Disorders

Hoarseness, vocal strain, or voice loss — common in teachers, singers, and professionals who use their voice extensively. Therapy focuses on healthy vocal techniques.

Stroke & Brain Injury Recovery

Aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive-communication difficulties after stroke or traumatic brain injury. Therapy supports language recovery and communication strategies.

Accent Modification

For professionals who want to refine their accent for clarity in the workplace. Therapy focuses on pronunciation, intonation, and communication confidence.

Social Communication

Difficulty with conversation skills, reading social cues, or communicating effectively in professional settings — including adults with autism spectrum conditions.

Swallowing Difficulties (Dysphagia)

Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties that can occur after stroke, surgery, or neurological conditions.

How Do Online Sessions Work?

Sessions take place via secure video call, so you can attend from your home, office, or wherever you feel comfortable. There’s no need to travel or take time off work — many of our clients schedule sessions during lunch breaks or in the evening.

Your therapist will begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand your communication needs, history, and goals. From there, they’ll develop a personalised therapy plan with clear objectives and regular progress reviews. Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes, and frequency depends on your individual needs.

All our therapists are experienced in working with adults and understand the unique challenges that come with seeking therapy later in life. Sessions are confidential, supportive, and entirely focused on helping you achieve your communication goals.
